All files created by some scripts use Apache and are owned by Apache (755) and therefore can not be edited or deleted by me. How can I fix it? Print

This is normal behavior for a web server.

DirectAdmin File Manager allows you to fix this yourself.

Each folder or file owned by apache has a link beside it that says "Change Ownership" and "Recursive" If you click the "Change Ownership" link it makes that file or folder yours. If you click on "Recursive" it makes that folder and all folders and files within that folder yours.

This is a every easy way to manage/fix Apache file ownership problems.
