What is the "Domain Alias" feature

What is the "Domain Alias" feature? I have never seen such a thing in my searches of webhosts, and am curious as to its definition.

Answer
We offer the ability to redirect a separate domain name to your existing domain name so that when a visitor types in the second domain name it redirects the browser to the original domain name as shown in this example below. We also allow you to have it behave as an ALIAS so that when a visitor types in the second domain name it goes to the first domain name/site but the browser still displays the first site as if its name were the second one.

Add New Domain Pointer
Source Domainhttp://www. --> yourdomainname.com   eg: sourcedomain.com
Create as an Alias
